August 1, 2019 – Vancouver, BC – RoomKeyPMS has expanded their customer support team with the hiring of a North American hotelier expert, Fernando Mallari.
Born in the Philippines, Fernando was exposed to the industry at a very young age, as part of a family who owned a successful franchise restaurant chain. This experience helped him to develop the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage in the hospitality industry.
Upon moving to North America 27 years ago, Fernando began his career at the Days Inn, and, over the past 23 years, has immersed himself within the operations and inner workings of hotels. He has held the title of Banquet Supervisor, Front Office Manager, Operations Manager, Director Of HK, Director Of Guest Services, and General Manager for multiple hotels, including Travelodge, The Park Plaza Hotel, The Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Hilton Hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton, and The Luxe London, with his focus centered on consistency of standards by measured expectations, employee relations, crisis management, and fiscal responsibility.
In his new role as a Client Services Specialist at RoomKeyPMS, Fernando will be able to provide immediate and expert assistance in an industry he is passionate about.
