Last week, the team at RoomKeyPMS participated in the 2nd annual Paralympic Foundation ParaTough Cup fundraising event in Vancouver. The half-day event brings together corporate teams of six who face off against each other in a series of Para sport challenges including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and Para ice hockey. The event raises funds to support the Paralympic Foundation of Canada as it works to ensure sport is available and accessible for all Canadians with a disability.
Although the RoomKeyPMS team was not crowned the ParaTough Cup Champions this year, we had a great time learning how challenging Para sports can be (and have the bruises to prove it!), and helped to raise $67,000 to support Canadians with disabilities, ensuring they can have access to sport from their communities all the way to the Paralympic podium.
Since it began in 2017, ParaTough Cup has raised more than $650,000 to support the Paralympic movement in Canada
