About Position
We are looking to for a dedicated and talented individual proficient in .NET that loves testing and debugging applications.
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Responsibilities
- Start each day, week and project with a creative spirit and a solution-oriented perspective for creating amazing outcomes for clients and colleagues
- Understand specification of software requirements
- Participation in the software design process, to include architecture and user interface design
Qualifications
- 1-2 years Dot-Net (C#) experience
- 1-2 years Microsoft SQL experience
- Development and testing experience with .NET, SQLServer, JavaScript, web/html, and C# technologies required
- Experience with manual and automated test practices (acceptance and regression)
- Experience in (or willingness to learn) agile development and test practices
- Knowledge or experience with agile test automation frameworks (e.g. Cucumber, FitNesse)
- Prior experience writing test plans, test cases and develop test data for software unit, system, regression, and acceptance tests
- Must be results driven, detail oriented, consistently meet deadlines and produce high quality work
- Exhibit a strong understanding of software QA methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related fields
