The Ideas portal collects clients’ suggestions and ideas on RoomKeyPMS features. The portal helps inform RoomKey’s decisions about products and allows us to better update our customers on features being considered or implemented in the near future.
As a customer, you can join discussions in the portal, under a number of key categories such as Operational Interfaces, Reservations and Business Intelligence and Reporting. The “upvote” function gives you—the end user—further control to direct improvements and additions. If there’s a suggestion you agree with, you can upvote the comment to signal your support. When a feature is in the production stage, it can be developed further with user feedback, so be sure to vocalize how existing suggestions can benefit your business operations.

For example, one discussion centered around the best way to accommodate families who travel together and request neighboring rooms. 54 people upvoted the idea that we should incorporate a “do not move” function that prevents front-of-house staff from breaking apart parties that are travelling together. Our product team took note of this feedback and has since added this functionality. Currently, we are working on implementing four customer requests into the software. In fact, the category Business Intelligence and Reporting has seen an immense impact with 46% of requests completed.
